Historical Markers
Dane County Historical Society has traditionally placed at least one historical marker each year at a site in Dane County for over 40 years.
These markers commemorate significant people, places, and events in Dane County history.

Please include an explanation of the site's significance in state or Dane County history, possible locations on public land, and the name of a sponsoring organization to develop and maintain the site.
