The GO VOTE Coalition is a non-partisan group of individuals and organizations seeking to increase voter turnout in Dane County's election process.  We are committed to the necessity of remaining non-partisan, and welcome all community groups and individuals willing to accept this fundamental principle.  We believe that low voter turnout undermines the democratic process, and we are committed to reversing this trend.

Our goal is to increase voters registrations and voter turnout in Dane County.

The participating organizations and individuals reflect the diverse nature of Dane County.  We will share resources so that we may be as efficient and effective as possible.

The Coalition commits to:

• make it easy for people to:

  learn how to register

  learn how to vote absentee

  learn when, where and how to vote

• door to door canvassing

• call voters before elections

• provide rides to the polls on election days

• promote educational forums reaching out to the diverse population of Dane County

• monitor the election process

By increasing voter turnout we will reclaim our inherent right to elect our leaders.
